Kathmandu: A Secretariat meeting of the major ruling party Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has been rescheduled for tomorrow, Thursday.

Though the meeting was scheduled for tomorrow at the Prime Minister’s official residence Baluwatar, it could not take place as an agreement on disputed issues could not be forged. Earlier, the party had planned the meeting on Tuesday, but was postponed for today, citing the need of further preparations.

According to Secretariat member Jhalanath Khanal, the meeting has been postponed for 3:00 pm tomorrow in Baluwatar.

The meeting has so far been put off several times as who will take the leadership of party’s School Department is yet to be determined.

Secretariat member Khanal and other leaders Ishwor Pokhrel, Ghanashyam Bhusal and Beduram Bhusal are apparently interested candidates in taking the Department’s leadership
