Nepali Congress (NC) has kicked off its election campaign in the trans-Himalayan district, Manang.
NC Manang began the election campaign ‘Visit the doorsteps to emerge Congress victorious’ on Friday.
Opening the campaign, NC central member Ganesh Lama called for party leaders and cadres to get united to make NC winner in upcoming elections.
“Let us all bury the hatchets to win upcoming elections”. Lama said, adding, “We should manage our grievances within the party to move ahead with unison”.
NC Manang President Shanker Gurung stressed to need to intensify party engagement in villages as part of election campaign.
He further said, “We are focused on villages for election campaign People are excited and are hopeful of good governance through new leadership”.
Also speaking on the occasion, NC leaders Tek Bahadur Gurung, Palten Gurung, Komal Bahadur Ghale and Karma Gurung underlined the need to accept party decision and intensify doorstep-based campaign to make NC victorious in coming elections.
