Kathmandu: The National Carrier, Nepal Airlines have announced to terminate the dollar fare from the domestic flights during a press conference organized on November 6.
Acting President for NAC, Madan Kharel shared that the airlines will no longer charge extra to international passengers on domestic flights during the press conference. This means that the cost for foreigners and Nepalis will be the same from now on.
This step by NAC is a huge boost for Visit Nepal Year 2020 campaign as many tourists will use domestic flights to explore the country known for its mountains, culture, wildlife, and spirituality.
Nepal has 43 airports located in various regions of the country from the remote area of Manang to the farthest one from the capital in Dhangadi. Lukla Airport is world-famous for being one of the most adventurous airports in the world.
