Nepal Army plane rescues fire victims



Kathmandu, Nov 14: The Nepal Army has airlifted 10 people from Jhapa today who were burnt by fire in Morang district.

The house of Deepak Karki at Urlabari-7 Bargachi, Morang district was caught fire on around 10.30 pm, November 12, and local people and security personnel rushed to extinguish the fire.

The injured four policemen and 23 civilians were admitted in hospital in Jhapa of which critically injured 10 people were rescued today. According to hospital sources in Jhapa, it was difficult to cure those 10 people in Jhapa hospital, and were referred to better equipped hospital in Kathmandu.

Earlier, 14 people who were injured were brought to Kathmandu from Biratnagar by a Nepal Army plane on Monday.
