Kathmandu, Feb 28: Nepal lost against Netherlands in the second match of the triangular T20 series by 2 runs.
Nepal lost by only 2 runs in the thrilling match played at TU Cricket Ground, Kirtipur. Chasing a target of 185 runs, Nepal only managed to score 184 runs loosing 8 wickets in 20 overs.
Nepal’s Dipendra Singh Airee top scored with 63 runs, and captain Rohit Paudel scored 50 runs.
Earlier, Netherlands posted a target of 185 runs to Nepal. Batting first by losing toss, the Netherlands made 184 runs in 20 overs at the loss of four wickets. Dutch cricketer Michael Levitt contributed the highest 54 runs.
