Kathmandu, April 30: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC), a state-owned entity, has reduced the prices of petrol, diesel, kerosene, and aviation fuel effective from mid-night today.
The adjustment comes after a price drop from Indian Oil Corporation. Nepal purchases petro products from IOC and adjusts prices in every 15 days.
The new price cuts are as follows:
-
Petrol: decreased by Rs. 2 per liter ( Rs. 158 per liter)
-
Diesel and Kerosene: decreased by Rs. 1 per liter ( Rs. 145 per liter)
-
Domestic Aviation Fuel: reduced by Rs. 4 per liter ( Rs. 121 per liter)
-
International Aviation Fuel: reduced by USD 29 per kiloliter ( US$ 923 in Kathmandu)
Although the price of LPG (cooking gas) changed by Rs. 15.70, NOC has decided to keep the consumer price unchanged.
