Kathmandu, Feb 24: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Nepal Police, Janak Bhattarai, has been recommended for promotion to Additional Inspector General (AIG).
A meeting of the Promotion Committee Secretariat under the Ministry of Home Affairs held on Sunday decided to recommend DIG Bhattarai for promotion to AIG.
According to Inspector General of Police (IGP) Basanta Bahadur Kunwar, who is also the member secretary of the promotion committee, Bhattarai, currently stationed at the Karnali Province Police Office in Surkhet, has been recommended for promotion as per Rule 27(4) of the Nepal Police Regulations, 2014. #nepal #police
