Nepal urges two neighbours to explore peaceful settlement of dispute

Kathmandu: Nepal government has stressed on the need to explore settlement of recent conflict between China and India through peaceful means.

Nepal has the established conviction that the conflict between the countries should be resolved peacefully, the government clarified, noting Nepal always stands for regional and global peace.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated this in a press note related to the recent development of conflict between neighbouring India and China in Galwan valley area on the India-China border.

According to the Ministry, Nepal was confident that the mutual disputes should be sorted out through peaceful medium as per the spirit of good neighbours.

In a press release issued by the ministry this evening, it is hoped that both the countries would explore peaceful solution to the problem in favour of mutual, regional and world peace and stability.
