Kathmandu, Jan 17: The Government of Nepal has closely monitored developments in the Middle East since October 7, 2023. In light of recent events, Nepal has expressed its support for the “Agreement for the Release of Hostages and Ceasefire in Gaza.”
Issuing a press release on Friday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that it hopes the agreement will pave the way for lasting peace and stability while ensuring uninterrupted humanitarian aid for Gaza’s residents.
Nepal reiterated its consistent call for the release of all hostages, including Nepali citizen Mr. Bipin Joshi, and extended its sincere appreciation to all parties involved in the mediation process. #nepal #BipinJoshi #hamas #israel #gaza
