Kathmandu, June 17: A team of three Nepalese mountaineers has made history by achieving the first ever ascent of Patrasi Peak in western Nepal.
The team, named Last and Fast, including Vinayak Jaya Malla, Pasang Rinzee Sherpa and Pasang Kami Sherpa, reached the top of the peak (6450 metres) on June 12, 2024 at 4:35 pm, confirmed Thaneswar Guragai, General Manager of Seven Summit Treks, a leading Nepal-based expedition operator.
Meanwhile, SST, which was the logistical partner for the expedition, congratulated the summiteers for this historic achievement.

Patrasi Peak
Patrasi Peak is an unclimbed peak located on the border of Mugu and Dolpa districts in the Kanjiroba Himal Range.
The mountain is generally suitable for experienced climbers as it is considered a technically difficult and requires experience in high-altitude mountaineering.
Climb challenges involve glaciers, crevasses and extreme weather conditions.
