Kathmandu, March 29: The NEPSE index closed at 1,919.42 on Wednesday after gaining just 1.02 points from the last trading day’s closing. The index gained 12.10 points on Tuesday.
Today the index opened at 1,920.09 and went intraday low of 1,901.62. In contrast, it went as high as 1,922.04 and ultimately closed at 1,919.42.
A total of 258 scrips traded hands via 25,413 transactions. A total of 2,539,048 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 81.62 crores in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day’s turnover of Rs. 1.443 Arba. This is the lowest volume since 14th December 2022. The NEPSE index was hovering around 1800 at the time, with a turnover of Rs 72.78 crore.
