Kathmandu, April 18: Nepal’s capital market today has seen a slight down again. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index decreased by 3.07 points and remained at 1,904.98 points.
The shares of 266 companies were bought and sold in the floor.
Today, hotel and tourism sub-group increased by 40.75 points, mutual fund group by 0.08 and non-life insurance group increased by 5.43 points, while the sub-indices of all other groups decreased. The sub-group of production and processing decreased by 49.61 points and small finance group decreased by 20.65 points.
According to NEPSE, the banking group decreased by 0.01 percent, the development bank by 12.27 percent, the finance by 6.86 point, the hydropower group by 2.49 and the investment group by 0.36 points. Similarly, the life insurance group decreased by 11.30 points, business group by 18.94 points and other groups by 0.36 points.
Kalinchok Darshan and Molung Hydropower share prices have a positive circuit. The share price of Khaptad Microfinance has decreased the most by 5.05 percent.
