Kathmandu, April 25: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has increased by double digits today. The NEPSE index increased by 17.36 points to 195.68 points.
Today, 27,570 shares of 265 companies were bought and sold with a transaction amounting to Rs 885,578,000.
The sub-index of the mutual fund group has decreased by 0.1 point, while the sub-index of all other groups has increased. Non-life insurance group increased by 95.42 points and production and processing group by 79.63 points. Banking group has increased by 12.17, development group by 57.05, finance group by 17.49, hotel and tourism group by 66.97 and hydropower group by 12.9 points.
Similarly, the sub-index of life insurance group increased by 57.30 points, production group by 15.80 points, business group by 13.22 points and other group by 6.74 points.
