Kathmandu, March 1: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has decreased by 24.44 points today. The stock closed at 1,995.49 points.
NEPSE index has reached below two thousands points after two months. Today, 3,729,976 shares of 257 companies bought and sold in the market.
All the groups of shares remained low today. Life insurance group has declined the most by 156.81 points and production group 111.20 points. Banking Group 63, Development Bank 51.45, Finance 10.57, Hotel and Tourism Groups 47.07 points, and Hydropower 34.95 points.
Similarly, the microfinance group today has also decreased by 104.67 points and non-life insurance by 97.62 points.
