Kathmandu, March 5: On Sunday, the NEPSE index decreased by 30.77 points to 1938.25 points. Similarly, the sensitive index decreased by 4.86 points, while the float index decreased by 2.11 points. Likewise, sensitive float index decreased by 1.76 points.
A total of 3,832,000 shares of 259 companies traded on Sunday. Compared to the last transaction of last week, the transaction amount on Sunday has also decreased.
The index of all the 13 sub-groups of NEPSE has gone down. Out of which, the index of production and processing sub-group decreased by 3.03 percent. Similarly, hydropower, microfinance and hotel and tourism sub-group have decreased by more than 2 percent. The index of finance, investment, life insurance, development bank and other sub-groups also decreased by more than 1 percent.
Although the NEPSE index fell on Sunday, the shares of Supermai Hydropower were traded at a positive circuit level. But, the shares of Samling Power Company have been traded in the negative circuit level. Likewise, the share price of Khaptad Microfinance has decreased by more than 7 percent.
