Kathmandu, Aug 6: On the first trading day of the week, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has seen a high decline. After today’s trading, the NEPSE index decreased by 38.37 points to 2,051.47 points.
The sub-index of life insurance group has decreased by 237.96 points and the sub-index of non-life insurance group has decreased by 222.60 points. Banking group decreased by 22.34, development bank by 97.51, finance by 62.27, hotels and tourism by 21.38 and hydropower group by 44.49 points. Likewise, investment group 0.87, production and processing 84.01, microfinance 61.82, mutual fund 0.15 business 68.27 and other group decreased by 17.07 points.
The share price of IME Life Insurance Company has increased the most by 9.99 percent, while the share price of Progressive Finance Limited has decreased the most by 9.95 percent.
