KATHMANDU: On Sunday, the first day of the week, the share trading gauge NEPSE index has declined by double digits. The NEPSE index has dropped by 18.56 points to 2618.56 points.
The Sensitive Index, which measures the trading activity of Class A companies, also declined by 2.31 points. The transaction amount has reached over Rs 6 billion. The group indices traded on NEPSE have all declined. Group sub-indexes have declined the most by microfinance and business groups.
Among the companies, the share price of Women Microfinance has declined significantly. The share price of Women Microfinance, which has been rising continuously since the IPO was listed in NEPSE, has taken a break today. The share price of the huge market, which has been rising continuously till last Wednesday, has also declined by about 10 percent.
On the other hand, Samata Microfinance Financial Institution and Ruru Hydropower Company have seen the biggest increase.
