Kathmandu, Jun 25: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has seen a high growth today. The NEPSE index increased by 3.3 percent i.e. 62.21 points to 2,117.73 points.
According to NEPSE, a total of 275 scrips were traded with 90,249 transactions. The turnover was Rs. 6,490,418,307.
Sub-indices of all groups increased in today’s trading. Life insurance group increased by 881.56 points and non-life insurance group by 666.97 points. Banking group increased by 12.74 points, development bank by 174.69 points, finance by 98.09 points, hotel and tourism by 93.57 points, hydropower by 46.44 points and investment group by 1.71 points.
Similarly, production and processing group increased by 237.4 points, microfinance by 68.24 points, mutual funds by 0.6 points, trade by 131.24 points and other groups by 79.62 points. Life Insurance Corporation (Nepal) Limited, Himalayan Life Insurance Limited, NMB-50, Samling Power Company Limited and BPW Microfinance Financial Sanstha Limited have a positive circuit today.
