NEPSE Index loses double digits today



Kathmandu, April 2: The NEPSE index closed at 1,888.55 on Sunday after losing 20.00 points from the last trading day’s closing. This is a loss of 1.05%.

Today the index opened at 1,910.49 and went intraday high of 1,928.66. In contrast, it went as low as 1,883.04 and ultimately closed at 1,888.55.

A total of 260 scrips traded hands via 32,414 transactions. A total of 3,787,241 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.207 Arba in turnover amount. This is higher than the last trading day’s turnover of Rs. 89.95 Crores.

NIC Asia Bank Ltd. (NICA) had the highest turnover of Rs. 5.05 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 692 per share. The shares of KBLPO traded the most.

Kalinchowk Darshan Limited (KDL) gained the highest 9.96% and technically hit the positive circuit for the day.

Conversely, Swabhimaan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SMFBS) has lost the highest 9.61% today.
