Kathmandu, Aug 21: The price of gold in the local market today has reached a new high. Hallmark gold has stayed at Rs 1 lakh 53 thousand per tola today, after rising in the global market.
Nepal Gold and Silver Enterpreneurs Federation states that the price for hallmark gold has been determined to be Rs 1 lakh 53 thousand. Hallmark Gold was trading for Rs 1 lakh 52 thousand 200 per tola on Tuesday; today, it rose by Rs 800 and established a new high.
In a similar vein, the cost of silver per tola has gone up by Rs 15. On Tuesday, silver was priced at Rs 1,820 per tola and traded at that price.
