Nawalparasi, March 28: A new building for the Provincial Hospital has been constructed in Madhyabindu, Nawalpur (Nawalparasi Bardaghat-Sustapurva district) with an investment of Rs 300 million. The project was funded by Rs 120 million from the Gandaki Province Government and Rs 180 million from Nepal Hilfe Organization.
The hospital is set to begin offering healthcare services from its newly built facility within a few days, according to Medical Superintendent Dr. Ramesh Prasad Acharya.
Previously, the hospital operated with only 15 official beds but had been accommodating up to 80 beds due to the high influx of patients, despite lacking adequate infrastructure and facilities. Dr. Acharya noted that the hospital was forced to expand its capacity to meet the growing demand for medical services. #hospital #nepal
