NOC decreases price of diesel, petrol, and aviation fuel

Kathmandu, Aug 31: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has reduced the price of petroleum products. The meeting of the board of directors of the corporation has reduced the price of petrol by Rs.2 per liter and diesel and kerosene by Rs.1 per liter with effect from Sunday morning.

According to the corporation, per liter of domestic aviation fuel has been reduced by Rs. 5 per liter and international aviation fuel has been reduced by USD 37 per kiloliter.

The corporation has fixed Rs 160.50, 162 and 163 per liter for petrol and 151.50, 153 and 154 per liter for petrol and kerosene respectively in the first, second and third category areas. The price of domestic aviation fuel has been adjusted to Rs 132 per liter, while the price of international aviation fuel has been set at USD 1,050 per kiloliter.

The corporation has listed Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhganj, Bhalwari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi and Birgunj under the first category, Surkhet and Dang under the second category and Kathmandu, Pokhara and Dipayal depot under the third category.

As per the new purchase rate received from the Indian Oil Corporation today, the prices of petroleum products have decreased, according to a press release issued by the corporation.
