Kathmandu: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased diesel price by Rs 6 per liter citing the increase in the price of fuel from India.
The NOC has increased the price of diesel with effect from 12:00 pm on Thursday. With this increase, the price of diesel per liter will be Rs. 178. Earlier, the price of diesel per liter was Rs. 172.
The corporation also increased the price of kerosene by Rs. 6. Now the price of kerosene per liter will be Rs. 178.
The corporation has kept the price of petrol, aviation fuel and gas (per cylinder) unchanged.
Even if the price is adjusted, the corporation will bear a loss of nearly Rs. 300 million.
