Kathmandu, April 3: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has reduced the price of petroleum products. According to NOC, it has been decided to reduce the price of diesel, kerosene and aviation fuel by Rs. 10 per liter and the price of petrol by Rs. 3 per liter.
The corporation issued a statement today and said that with the price reduction, the selling price of petrol has remained at Rs. 175 per liter, and the selling price of diesel and kerosene has remained at Rs. 165 per liter. Domestic aviation fuel will be sold at Rs. 160 per liter.
The meeting of the Board of Directors of the NOC today decided to reduce the petro price as Indian Oil Corporation sent new reduced price list. “The corporation is arranging the sale and distribution of petroleum products to the consumers in an easy and simple manner, despite the fact that the outstanding amount owed to the government and the Indian Oil Corporation is about Rs. 14 billion,” reads NOC statement.
