Kathmandu, Sept 16: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC), the state-owned entity, has slashed the prices of petrol, diesel and kerosene effective from today mornig.
The NOC stated that it reduced the price of diesel and kerosene by Rs 5 per litre and Rs 4 per litre in petrol.
Now, petrol will be available at Rs 159 per liter and diesel/ kerosene at Rs 149 per liter in Kathmandu.
Issuing a press statement, the NOC said the decision was taken following the new price list in the slashed rate received from the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC).
In recent days and months, the NOC has been reducing fuel prices due to reduction in petro prices in world market, including India.
The IOC is the only supplier of petroleum products to Nepal, including petrol, diesel, kerosene, LPG gas, aviation fuel. #nepal #fuel #petro
