Kathmandu: Nepal Oil Corporation, the state-owned public institution, has reduced the price of petroleum products.
The meeting of the board of directors of the corporation has reduced the price of petroleum products with effect from 12 midnight on Sunday.
The corporation has informed through a statement that the price of petrol, diesel and kerosene has been reduced by Rs 3 per litre.
According to the new price list, petrol per liter has been fixed at Rs 175, diesel and kerosene per liter at Rs 172. The corporation has reduced the price of aviation fuel by Rs 30 per liter and the price of domestic aviation fuel by Rs 20 per liter.
Earlier, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda had instructed the NOC to review the price of petro prices. The NOC has come under severe criticism even after falling the price of petro products in recent days.
