Kathmandu, Nov 27: Two matches are set to take place today under the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) 2025, the franchise-based Twenty20 cricket tournament currently underway in the capital. The first match begins at 11:45 am and the second at 4:00 pm at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.
In the day’s opening match, Lumbini Lions will face Sudurpaschim Royals. Lumbini, led by national team captain Rohit Kumar Poudel, has won just one of its three matches and sits in sixth place on the points table. Sudurpaschim, captained by Dipendra Singh Airee, is at the top with three consecutive victories.
In the second match under floodlights, defending champions Janakpur Bolts, led by Anil Shah, will seek their first points of the tournament after losing both of their matches so far. Pokhara Avengers, captained by Kushal Bhurtel, are also at the bottom of the table with two losses in two games. #nepal #npl #cricket
