Kathmandu, Nov 24: The defending champion Janakpur Bolts have performed well today, restricting Biratnagar Kings to 135 runs.
Having won the toss at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, Janakpur Bolts elected to field first. Their bowling attack was very impressive today.
Janakpur’s Sangeeth Cooray and Rupesh Singh took 2 wickets each while Aaditya Mahata took 1 wicket.
For Biratnagar Kings, Lokesh Bam 28 runs, George Munsey 10, Martin Guptill 13, Basir Ahamad 36 and Shubham Ranjane 27.
Janakpur Bolts is aiming to secure its first victory of the season, after previously losing to Kathmandu Gorkhas by five wickets in its opening match. Meanwhile, Biratnagar Kings has already recorded two wins in the ongoing NPL.
