Kathmandu, Sept 25 : The ninth Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) world conference and the international general convention of Non Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) is taking place in Kathmandu on October 15-17.
The theme of the event is ‘ I, My NRN and My Nepal’. As in the past, the government, Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry and NRNA are jointly organising the event.
A high-level organising committee has been already formed under the chair of Foreign Minister to facilitate the event.
The committee comprises government representatives and presidents of organisations concerned.
As NRN international coordination council spokesperson Bhusan Ghimire said works were going on to elect general convention representatives with voting rights.
The general convention will end, electing a new leadership.
