Banke, Sept 22: One person died and 10 others were injured due to a dispute at Jayandu Children’s Correctional Home located in Ward No. 6 of Duduwa Rural Municipality of Banke. Four of the injured are in critical condition.
Superintendent of Police Santosh Singh Rathore informed that the deceased was 21-year-old Sulabh KC from Rupandehi district. According to him, KC, who was seriously injured in the clash, died during treatment of head injury at Nepalgunj Medical College.
There has also been vandalism and arson in children’s correctional homes. Police said that the injured are being treated at Nepalgunj Medical College and Bheri Hospital. Police are still stationed at the Children’s Home.
