Kathmandu, April 11: The Ministry of Health and Population has stated that a coronavirus infected person died today.
According to the Ministry, coronavirus was confirmed on 106 people today in course of conducting 2,436 tests.
Similarly, 48 people have returned home after recovery today itself. The coronavirus infection would likely increase for few more days, added the Ministry. The number of active coronavirus cases has reached 469 so far.
Twenty-four people are in isolation, 13 in ICU and five are on ventilator support in Kathmandu Valley. New variant of coronavirus, Omicron XBB.1.16, has also been detected in the country.
