Kathmandu, March 26: Construction of the Bhandara II Drinking Water Project has completed. The Drinking Water Project has been constructed at Bhandara of Rapti municipality-4 in Chitwan district.
Minister for Water Supply, Pradeep Yadav, inaugurated the project on Wednesday. On the occasion, Minister Yadav shared that 16,244 people of 3,200 households from Rapti municipality 4, 5 and 6 would be directly benefitted from the project.
Earlier the people there were facing difficulties in their daily life for lack of clean drinking water, the Minister reminded, expressing the belief that the project would supply clean and safe drinking water round the clock.
Minister Yadav expressed happiness over the completion of the important project due to collective commitment, collaboration and hard work of the federal government, consumers committee and local communities.
The project was constructed at a cost of Rs 98.6 million, according to Federal Drinking Water and Sewerage Management Project, Bharatpur.#nepal #Drinking Water #rss
