Biratnager, Feb 23: Three minors died and a person got injured when a lorry overturned in a road off the main highway at Budhiganga rural municipality-4 in Morang district today.
According to DSP Ranjan Kumar Dahal at the District Police Office, Morang, the lorry with the registration no R J 29 GB 1561 from India and carrying marble stones overturned, fatally trampling four-year-olds twins Isita Adhikari and Nishant Adhikari and eight-year-old Riha Khawas. They were local residents of place where the accident took place.
Meanwhile, injured in the incident, Mr Jyoti Adhikari is currently undergoing treatment at Birat Teaching Hospital, police said.
DSP Dahal said that police have arrested the lorry’s driver and forwarded investigation into the incident. #Nepal
