Pakistan Nepal Friendship Festival held in Bhaktapur



Kathmandu, 26 Aug. In the heart-warming celebration of 76th Independence of Pakistan, Pakistan-Nepal Friendship Festival was organized in Bhaktapur, Nepal.

The exquisite event lasted for 3 days which was held from 23-26 Aug. The grand event was organized by Centre for Asian Studies and Mahakali Dance Council in collaboration with Pakistan Embassy.

The event elegantly showcased Strong Bilateral and diplomatic relationship between Nepal and Pakistan. More than 700 enthusiastic students from 30 different schools participated and competed in this three-day event. The categories of competition were Essay writing, handwriting, painting competition, and cultural dances.

Closing ceremony was held on 26 Aug. Umair Ali , Pakistan’s Charge d’ Affaires was the Chief Guest. Awards were distributed among the prize winners in various categories by the Cheif Guest Mr. Umair Ali and Special Guest Ms Nisha Sharma Pokharel, Chancellor of Nepal Academy of Music & Drama.
