Pakistani Ambassador pays courtesy call on Vice President Yadav



Kathmandu, March 21: Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal, Abrar H Hashmi paid a courtesy call on Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav.

The Vice President’s private secretariat informed that matters related to bilateral relations, high-level visits, economic cooperation and collaboration as well as bilateral trade and investment were discussed at the meeting held at the Office of the Vice President in Lainchaur today.

Vice President Yadav said relations between Nepal and Pakistan have remained close and cordial since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries and it should be further strengthened in the days to come.

We need to continue dialogue between the two countries through the Joint Economic Commission at the finance minister level and bilateral political consultation mechanism at the foreign secretary level”, he said, adding that exchange of high-level visits between the two countries has always increased quality in all aspects of our relations.

Vice President Yadav stressed the need for the two countries to work together in the areas of mutual cooperation, including investment, tourism, culture and people-to-people relations.Pakistan’s Ambassador to Nepal Hashmi said the bilateral relations between the two countries are cordial and the problems arising due to climate change should be resolved through mutual cooperation.

He congratulated Nepal government for the ‘Sagarmatha Sambad’ being organized in Nepal keeping climate change, mountains and the future of human life at the centre and pledged Pakistan’s support and cooperation in this regard. #nepal #political #rss
