Paras Khadka elected as secretary of CAN

Kathmandu, Sept 23: Paras Khadka, the former captain of the Nepali cricket team, has been elected as the secretary of the Nepal Cricket Association (CAN).

Khadka defeated Prashanta Bikram Malla and was elected to the post of secretary. Paras got 48 votes while Prasanta received 37 votes. A total of 85 delegates voted in the election.

Meanwhile, Chatur Bahadur Chand has been re-elected to the post of President unopposed.

Similarly, Roshan Singh was elected as Vice-President of the association and Padma Khadka, President of Karnali Pradesh Cricket Association, was elected unopposed as treasurer.
