Kathmandu, July 27: Spokesperson of Nepali Congress and Minister of Finance Dr. Prakasharan Mahat has accused Congress MP Dr Sunil Sharma that he has made baseless allegation after he failed to get full assurance to run Health Insurance Program in his hospital (Nobel Medical College in Biratnagar).

He said this while announcing the decision of the party central committee meeting on Wednesday. He said that there is a hospital of MP Sharma and he asked him to tell the same hospital to give health insurance program. “But I told him it will be done according to the law, but he spoke angrily.”

He said that action will be taken against MP Sharma for his undisciplined expression. However, he did not mention anything about what action will be taken against Sharma.

MP Sharma was speaking at the House floor on Wednesday and demanded Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayankaji Shrestha and Minister of Finance Dr. Prakasharan Mahat to resign immediately on moral ground after they both failed to stop gold smuggling cases from the airport.

Spokesperson Dr Mahat said that the party will take action against those who violate party discipline.
