Kathmandu, Sept 11: Actor Paul Shah has been signed for the Nepali film ‘Mayavi’. Actor Paul, who is preferred in love story films, is going to be seen in the film ‘Mayavi’ which is going to be directed by Diwakar Bhattarai.
Paul, who is preparing for his comeback after one and a half years of jail term, is finally moving to make his comeback through Diwakar’s film. Director Diwakar said that Paul has been roped in as the lead actor in the film. Director Shri Krishna announced ‘Mayavi’ on Wednesday on the occasion of Srikrishna Janmashtami festival.
Bhattarai’s own story will be in the film. Actress Deepika Prasai has already been finalized as the lead actress in the film. This is Diwakar and Deepika’s second collaboration after the film ‘Aishwarya’.
Director Bhattarai informed that other actors and technical aspects of the film will be released according to the time. The film to be produced by Creative Cine Arts will have music by SD Yogi, lyrics by Ram Abiral Bista, DOP by Raju Bikram Thapa. The film will go on floors from Ashwin 2. Director Bhattarai informed that the shooting of the film will be done in the scenic location of Pokhara.
Diwakar has already directed the films ‘Mero Jeevan Saathi’, ‘Stupid Man (heart)’, ‘Dreams’, ‘Aishwarya’ and ‘Captain’.
