Nawalparasi, May 10: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the government is committed to speed up the economic transformation of the country by keeping the morale of investors including industrialists and businessmen high.
Prime Minister Dahal while addressing the inauguration program of Lakshmi Motor Corporation’s ‘Hyundai Motor Assembling Plant’ today said that the country will be taken forward in the journey of prosperity through economic development.
Stating that the economy will be strengthened by taking the private sector into confidence, the Prime Minister said that the government is committed to facilitate investment.
“Without private sector investment and cooperation, the country’s economy cannot grow, productivity cannot increase, employment opportunities cannot be generated,’’ PM Dahal said.
Expressing confidence that this new industry will attract more domestic and foreign investors for the industrial environment in Nepal, Prime Minister Dahal said that along with industrialization, imports will be substituted and hundreds of skilled and semi-skilled workers will be employed.
“The government has amended laws by bringing the ordinance on the eve of recently concluded investment summit,” Prime Minister Dahal said, “It will play an important role in encouraging and promoting internal and external investment by addressing the problems seen in the investment sectors.
