PM Dahal, Socialist Party Chairman Nepal discuss contemporary issues

Kathmandu, Oct 7: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Chairperson of the CPN (Unified Socialist), Madhav Kumar Nepal, held a discussion on making the government efficient and effective.

During the meeting held at PM’s Office, Singha Durbar today, they discussed various issues including government’s efficiency, campaign launched by Socialist Forum, country’s economy, current session of parliament, and upcoming Nepal visit of Secretary-General of the United Nations.

Talking to media persons after the meeting, Chair Nepal said they discussed contemporary issues including government’s efficiency. “We talked on effective performance of government, call for a meeting of the ruling parties, consultation to experts on resolving problems in economy as well as building common understanding on various issues among ruling parties.

On the occasion, Chair Nepal drew PM Dahal’s attention towards non-implementation of understanding reached among the parties regarding appointments of ministers and at commissions.
