PM Karki meets Chairman of Nepal Pariwar Dal

Kathmandu, Nov 28: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has said that unnecessary poll spending and undue influence to the voters should be controlled adding that ‘clean candidates’ should win the election.

During a meeting with the Chairman of Nepal Pariwar Dal, Eak Nath Dhakal, at the Office of the Prime Minister on Friday, PM Karki said that the upcoming election to the House of Representatives (HoR) should be different than those of the past.

“You have been preparing for poll. This is a pleasing matter. With this, the upcoming poll should be different than that of the past. Election spending should be limited and profligacy in publicity should be minimized,” according to the PM.

The PM viewed that publicity style should be changed in a way reducing the cost of the candidates so that the clean candidates will represent in the parliament.

On the occasion, Chairman Dhakal praised the government efforts made for creating environment conducive for the upcoming March 5 elections to the HoR. #nepal #rss
