Kathmandu, July 2: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ on Tuesday observed the photo exhibition organized on the occasion of 100th birth anniversary of Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister late Girija Prasad Koirala.
PM Prachanda visited the photo exhibition titled ‘Krantidekhi Shantisamma’ (from Revolution to Peace) organized by the NC Central Department of Information, Communications and Publicity. The photo exhibition has showcased major pictures of the life of late Koirala.
Likewise, former prime ministers KP Sharma Oli and Dr Baburam Bhattarai also visited the photo exhibition at the NC party central office in Sanepa, Lalitpur.
Similarly, a talk programme was organized there to recall late Koirala’s contribution to the country’s peace process and overall politics where former PM Dr Bhattarai, NC leader Krishna Prasad Sitaula and CPN (UML) leader Pradip Gyawali shared their views about Koirala’s life and politics and other issues.
