Chitwan : A police constable was killed when a Bolero car (Ba 17 Cha 5758) hit a motorcycle (Na 55 Pa 1425) he was riding at Ramnagar of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-1 on Sunday night.
The deceased has been identified as Yadu Prasad Pathak, 35, of Nilkantha municipality-10 in Dhading district, who was posted at the district police office, Chitwan.
He died at Bharatpur Hospital. Pathak was returning to Bharatpur from a police post, Ramnagar when the accident occurred, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Ek Narayan Koirala.
The police have taken under control the driver and the vehicle.
