Morang, Jan 27: Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari spoke of the need for all to contribute as she argued that all had an important role in overall nation-building.
Talking to journalists in Biratnagar on Monday, former President Bhandari said that the nation could attain prosperity through certain measures. If everyone could deliver well on their part for development of science and technology, for eradication of backwardness in the children’s sectors and resolving drinking water related issues,” she elaborated.
Bhandari made it clear that she was not yet in the phase of shouldering any partisan responsibility at the moment although according to her likelihood of political engagement has become the talk of the town among politics enthusiasts.
Refuting the ‘false’ news doing rounds in media regarding her re-entry into politics, former President Bhandari observed that presidential system and president’s post were not non-political responsibilities.
The former President recalled that she took an interest in national politics since she joined politics. Bhandari asserted, “It is necessary for all to understand national politics. None is untouched by the politics and everyone has deep interest in politics.” RSS #nepal #politics
