KATHMANDU, Dec 26: Leader of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Prachanda-Nepal faction Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has extended sorrow over the demise of party national advisory council member Sonam Sathi (Shashi Sherchan).
Sonam passed away Friday night in course of treatment at Model Hospital in the capital.
While issuing a condolence message today, chair Prachanda mentioned that late communist leader Sonam had firm determination and contribution in the progressive political and cultural movements in the country. Sonam is considered an inspirational figure to all proletarians in the country.
Chair Prachanda extended condolences to the bereaved family. Sonam was born on 17th Shrawan 2007 BS in Darbang-2 of Myagdi district.
Sonam had received the member of communist party in 2025 BS and had later on established Proletarian Communist League in 2033 BS. He had also launched peasants’ revolution in 2038 BS forming Proletarian Workers Organization Nepal.
