Kathmandu, Sept 9:President Ramchandra Paudel has approved the resignation tendered by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, with effect from today.
According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, Oli resigned today in light of the adverse situation that has recently unfolded in the country. He was appointed Prime Minister on July 15, 2024, under Article 76(2) of the Constitution of Nepal.
The Office of the President has stated that, in accordance with Article 77(3) of the Constitution, the existing Council of Ministers will continue to function until a new Council of Ministers is formed.#nepal #political #rss
