KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has appointed three new ministers. On the recommendation of the Prime Minister, the President has appointed three new ministers representing from Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP).
The newly inducted ministers are Mrigendra Kumar Singh Yadav, Mohammad Ishtiyak Rai and Pradip Yadav. However, Rajendra Shrestha has remained in the post of Minister. Minister Shrestha was close to senior leader Dr Baburam Bhattarai.
Mrigendra Yadav will lead Ministry of Agriculture, Ishtiyak Rai will lead Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport and Pradip Yadav will lead the Ministry of Forest.
The JSP has earlier decided to call back three ministers as Mahindra Raya Yadav, Renu Kumari Yadav and Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav.
According to reports, Dr Bhattarai will be forming another party by splitting from JSP.
