Kathmandu, Jan 12: President Ramchandra Paudel has drawn attention of the top leaders of three major political parties to work together to consolidate democratic system by addressing burning problems facing the country.
The President draw attention of top leaders, including Prime Minister and CPN (Maoist Centre) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, main opposition party CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli and Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba towards implementing federalism, improving governance and reforming the oldest university, informed President’s press advisor Kiran Pokharel.
Pokharel further shared that President Paudel had cautioned political parties’ leaders to immediately bring laws to grant authority to province for implementing the federalism and maintain good governance to deliver justice to the needy persons.
Also on the occasion, President Paudel drew attention of leaders to tap the opportunity to initiate reforms at Tribhuvan University by appointing a competent Vice-chancellor.
Leaders took the President’s move in a positive note, it is said. RSS
