Prime Minister appeals to start small enterprises

Kathmandu, Aug 21: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has appealed a number of industries ought to be developed and grown in order to boost output from small businesses.

Prime Minister Oli said today at the Start Up Nation 2030 program that young people and women can find job and income opportunities in their own nation without having to travel abroad if they apply innovative and creative thinking.

In order to decrease poverty, boost national confidence, accomplish sustainable development goals, and replace imports from domestic production, he placed a strong emphasis on encouraging youth entrepreneurship.

He was adamant that the bank lend money to these business owners based on their projects rather than their holdings.

He made it clear that the government will support the cooperative in a positive way, despite attempts by some dishonest people to undermine it overall.

“In order to see results in production, we need to increase entrepreneurship throughout the entire nation based on technology, skills, and capital.”

Government investment will never fail in a start-up. It needs to be viewed as a campaign. For the sake of the nation’s prosperity, the government will not limit its assistance to the private sector, he declared.

“We did not show up at the government to wave the flag. I was never going to be prime minister again at this age. I realized that I had to take action.”

Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel emphasized on facilitating the young enterpreneurs and the financial institutions must address such ventures.
