Kathmandu, Feb 4: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has officially launched a nationwide free HPV vaccination campaign aimed at preventing cervical cancer.
On the occasion of World Cancer Day, the Ministry of Health and Population organized the event at Shivapuri Secondary School in Maharajgunj. During the program, Prime Minister Oli handed over health kits to healthcare workers from Kathmandu Metropolitan Ward-3 to mark the beginning of the campaign.
The campaign will run across the country from today until Magh 28. It aims to vaccinate approximately 1.7 million girls aged 10 to 14, including students from grades 6 to 10 and non-school-going girls within the same age group. #hpv
